About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility assistance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and respected.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Dedication to providing exceptional care and support to seniors, with a passion for making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with relevant experience in senior care or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday.
