Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As an Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams to aid in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams to aid in the evaluation and treatment of patients
  • Take call for ultrasound procedures and work with physicians to determine the best course of treatment
  • Position and transfer patients comfortably for exams
  • Assist in maintaining the upkeep of department and equipment, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed
  • Attend section staff meetings, in-services, workshops, and seminars for continuing education and professional growth
Requirements
  • Two years of radiology ultrasound specific college coursework, Associates Degree or Diploma preferred
  • RDMS Certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
