Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at MaineHealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures involving the application of ultrasonic sound beams for patient diagnosis.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography preferred
* Current ARDMS and/or ARRT(S) certification required; RDMS required
* RQI BLS Certification within first 30 days of employment
