Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at PepsiCo. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and stocked on store shelves, as well as maintaining a clean and organized backroom inventory area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
  • Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to ensure maximum visibility and sales
  • Transport products to and from the backroom to shelf location using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Display promotional materials such as signs and banners in accounts
  • Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition
  • Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management
  • Build customer relationships at the store level
  • Comply with operating procedures such as scan-in/scan-out and following designated routes
  • Service accounts during designated times established by management
  • Deliver customer service through communication, rapport building, and attentiveness to customer needs
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision and use handheld devices to write/input orders
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
  • Must have a car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Proof of insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience in a retail business or grocery store
  • Moving products within a store, including safely stacking and moving products on equipment
  • Merchandising products, including filling shelves, building displays, and making products look attractive
  • Managing backroom/stock room inventory, including organizing pallets and stacking and storing inventory
  • Serving customers, including handling customer complaints and responding to customer requests
