About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Compliance Director to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our Global Networks organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our network compliance framework, ensuring that our global network infrastructure meets the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Network Compliance Team: Develop and maintain a comprehensive network compliance program that adheres to industry standards, including NIST 800-53, CIS CSC, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Design and Implement Network Infrastructure Policies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network infrastructure policies and standards that ensure the security and reliability of our global network.
  • Guide and Mentor Network Compliance Engineers: Provide guidance and mentorship to network compliance engineers in building innovative solutions that meet our network compliance requirements.
  • Act as a Design and Implementation Partner: Work closely with the architecture team to design and implement network compliance solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Deliver Network Compliance Products: Participate in scrum methodologies to deliver network compliance products on time and meet our business requirements.
  • Conduct Research and Suggest Design and Implementation: Conduct research and suggest design and implementation of network compliance solutions that enhance our network operations and cost structures.
  • Materialize Network Compliance Solutions: Develop and implement network compliance solutions that meet our business needs and ensure the security and reliability of our global network.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 8+ years of experience in a technical role within a Network/Security Engineering or Operations organization designing and implementing complex networking solutions with various technologies.
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in leading and managing technical teams, including experience in creating network configurations that comply with Global Security and Compliance Standards.
  • Compliance and Vulnerability Management Experience: Proven experience designing and implementing a successful network compliance program that adheres to the highest industry standards.
  • Security Compliance and Risk Management Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of security compliance and risk management frameworks, including NIST 800-53, CIS CSC, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Cloud Networks and Firewall Technologies: Experience with designing and engineering Cloud Networks and familiarity with AWS, Azure, Alicloud, GCP, as well as experience with firewall technologies like Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Fortinet.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences, as well as strong attention to detail and ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Network and/or Security Technologies: Certification in network and/or security technologies, such as CCIE, CCNP, CISSP.
  • Experience with Network and Security Compliance Standards: Experience in developing technology roadmaps and strategies, as well as strong knowledge of network and security compliance standards on both on-prem and cloud components.

We offer a competitive salary range of $113,850 to $216,315 annually, as well as an annual bonus and stock grants.
