With five plant locations in California, Ohio, and Texas, we produce top-quality products for the demanding requirements of the cosmetics, personal health care, beverage, food, and dietary supplements markets.Our Core Values play a meaningful role in our employees' lives.Second Shift, Monday to Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. + Shift Differential PayPress: Nilpeter 2200The successful candidate possesses the following.Top-notch flexo skills on complex jobsPossess a "can-do" and TEAMWORK attitudeCareful attention to detailHigh expectations for qualityExperience running a flexographic color label pressAbility to operate with minimal scrapAbove-average productivitySPECIFIC DUTIES:Reviewing job tickets and verifying stock, inks, and dies are available and used as specified.Sets up machine; installs anilox, inks, correct stock, die, and plates.Sets impressions and registers print-to-print and print-to-die.Loads the specified type of paper and adds inkAdjusts the press to the paper size and feeds the paper through the press cylindersCompletes all start-up checks and gets start approval.Performs general maintenance to the press.Follows 6S guidelines assigned to the work area and surrounding areas.BENEFITSInsurance benefits start the first of the month after the hireFree $100,000 life insuranceFree Long Term Disability Insurance401k with company match after 90 daysAccident, Critical Illness & Supplemental BenefitsCompany-Funded Health Savings AccountVacation, Sick & Holiday PayEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.). Requires at least three years of relevant experience in label press operation in a manufacturing environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Works in a manufacturing environment and must wear foot and other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. May continuously stand for an extended period and stoop and kneel frequently. May handle, feel, and reach for items in and around the press area and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting to 50 lbs. may be required. Vision: close vision, distance, and color vision to distinguish color variations, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud. Must be able to work overtime as required by workload and customer-mandated deadlines. The physical demands described above represent those an employee must meet to successfully perform this job's essential functions.
