POSITION SUMMARY:
The selected candidate will report directly to the school principal and collaborate with the Special Education Director to implement program components effectively.

This role involves delivering a standards-based educational program tailored for students who require a specialized classroom environment as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

The instructor will oversee all facets of each student's customized program to ensure they receive the essential services needed for their educational success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • EDUCATION SPECIALIST INSTRUCTION CREDENTIAL - MODERATE/SEVERE or UNIVERSITY INTERN CREDENTIAL.
  • AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER AUTHORIZATION is mandatory.
  • EL AUTHORIZATION is required.

The Lynwood Unified School District is seeking a qualified and experienced Special Day Class Teacher for the upcoming school year.
