About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Assistant Project Manager in preparing the CPM baseline, monthly CPM schedule updates, and narratives.
  • Process submittals to achieve project schedule and contract documents.
  • Expediting material deliveries of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Properly inspect materials for quantity and quality, ensuring conformance with contract documents and approved submittals.
  • Manage the RFI Process and ensure drawings are posted and up to date.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent and Project Manager with subcontractor preconstruction meetings.
  • Safety Planning and Performance - Participation in the SOS Program.
  • Participation in and assist with S&P Quality Control Program.
  • Closing out the project in compliance with contract documents.
  • Ensure implementation of project management systems as outlined in the Operations and Procedures Manual.
  • Manage specific budgets within cost control.
  • Accumulate all necessary data for monthly pay estimates.
  • Assist with production analysis studies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Viewpoint, Primavera P6, and Procore.
