Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program or 10 years of experience in acute care pharmacy.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license.
  • Healthcare BLS certification within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment (for location 200211).
  • Strong computer skills and typing ability (25 WPM).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
