Pharmacist - Inpatient Night Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team at Renown Health. As a night shift pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients on the inpatient units, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
  • Current State of Nevada Pharmacist license.
  • Healthcare BLS certification within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment (for location 200211).
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
