We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Renown Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care, protocol implementation, and drug distribution for patients with cancer on our inpatient oncology unit and outpatient infusion center.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology pharmacy practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients with cancer, including medication therapy management and protocol implementation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication profiles.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy interns, students, and technicians.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license.
- Healthcare BLS certification within the first 90 days of employment.
