Job Description

SITECH West, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing GPS and laser-based positioning and data products on various makes and models of construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair construction technology equipment, with emphasis on Laser, GPS, and Robotic controls.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for customer repairs.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, work orders, service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met.
  • Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with Operator Training.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area.
  • Assist with ordering parts and organizing the parts warehouse.
  • Data entry as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a valid class C driver license and a clean D.M.V. report.
  • Welding certification or ability to demonstrate welding proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic system installation and repair.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring schematics used in installation and troubleshooting.
