About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accessibility Quality Engineer to join our Apple Services Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accessibility of our media products, including Music, Podcasts, App Store, and TV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive accessibility test plans for our products and features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address accessibility gaps and issues.
  • Provide expert guidance and training on accessibility best practices and technologies to engineering teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve accessibility-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging accessibility technologies and standards, and apply this knowledge to improve our products.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG and Section 508.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Swift.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools, including PyTest, XCTest, and XCUI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with accessibility features and technologies, including VoiceOver, Voice Control, and Full Keyboard Access.
  • Knowledge of screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Experience with UI testing and QA methodologies.
