Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Receivables Management Analyst to join our team at Canadian Pacific Kansas City. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of all amounts due under customer contracts while maintaining a strong client relationship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely monitoring and collecting of past due receivables
  • Maintaining confidentiality while protecting CPKC's financial position
  • Adhering to daily targets and departmental objectives
  • Investigating, validating, and resolving account discrepancies/disputes
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strategically managing multiple escalated accounts in addition to a non-escalated portfolio
  • Drilling down to the root cause to resolve complex issues
  • Building business cases to support account resolution
  • Driving process improvements by proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Two years of experience in collections/customer service/related roles; collections experience is preferred
  • Railroad or transportation experience preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • SAP system (ECC & S4) knowledge is an asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with a proven ability to deliver results
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong situational awareness
