Senior Tax Manager

Marcum LLP is a leading national firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Saddle Brook, NJ office. As a key member of our Tax practice, you will be responsible for leading complex tax engagements, supervising staff, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns
  • Review and analyze income tax provisions for SEC and private engagements
  • Supervise and train staff, reviewing and evaluating their work
  • Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to staff management
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating expertise and knowledge of client businesses
  • Perform research and draft memoranda on corporate tax issues
Qualifications
  • CPA certification required
  • Masters degree in Taxation preferred
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GoSystems/ProSystems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent judgment and ability to work independently
