Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care under the supervision and direction of a DVM.
  • Record all pertinent medical, client, and case-related information in the patient record accurately.
  • Review medical records, estimates, or discharge instructions with clients.
  • Answer client inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures.
  • Provide guidance to support staff to ensure a smooth shift.
  • Participate in 360-degree employee performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in the veterinary industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm during medical crises.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills.
