Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their concerns and needs, building a rapport that fosters trust and satisfaction.
  • Provide essential support in navigating customer inquiries, explaining complex information in simple terms.
  • Discover solutions using available tools and resources to meet customer needs.
  • Empathize and resolve concerns to simplify the customer's experience.
  • Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.

Work at Home Requirements

  • High-Speed Internet with at least 20 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed (no satellite, Wi-Fi, or cellular/wireless carrier internet services).
  • A hard-wired internet connection via Ethernet cable to modem/router that you own and are responsible for.
  • A dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions.
  • A USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone.

Additional Requirements

  • 18+ years and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center (utilities industry a plus).
  • Self-driven and able to focus on the same task or objective for long periods.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge.
  • Open availability between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time.
  • Professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette.
  • Customer-focused personality and motivation to achieve goals.
  • Must pass a background check, including credit review and assessments in training.
