About the Position:
This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate receivables related to all claims. The position allows for a degree of independence in managing risks and developing mitigation strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, enabling them to interpret data effectively and provide sound recommendations to the Controller, CFO, finance team, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and submit claims for Carrier/ICP and other assigned vendor rebates with precision.
- Identify and rectify errors in the Carrier/ICP claim records.
- Reconcile submitted claims and vendor rebates against payments received and the general ledger.
- Manage and generate credit/rebills for customers.
- Analyze the credit/rebill process to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, which may evolve over time.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and energetic, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with internal stakeholders and senior leadership effectively.
Moreover, the candidate must be capable of initiating and supporting change, implementing processes, tools, and controls that contribute to ongoing improvement within the department.
Proven strategic thinking, along with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, is essential.Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role does not entail any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications, Attributes, Education and/or Experience:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with two to three years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
They must thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and demonstrate the ability to manage shifting priorities while exercising sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor Prophet 21, is also required.
