Clinical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our team at St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
- Assess all departments to ensure continuity of care and report pertinent information to management and administration.
- Effectively communicate unusual occurrences or complaints for follow-up and intervene immediately when needed.
- Ensure the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Ensure occurrence of appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records.
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes to continually improve performance and outcomes.
- Communicate this information to the nursing department.
- Assure education and training is provided to nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct activities of clinical personnel.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills required.
