We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team at Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with production and design staff to optimize product design and tooling for efficient production methods.
- Work with vendors to determine product specifications and quality standards.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Utilize quality tools such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and statistical process control to improve overall product quality.
- Assist with the design layout of equipment and workforce for maximum efficiency.
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial/Operations Management, or other general engineering/industrial degree with technical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, statistical process control, etc. preferred.
- Experience working in an industrial setting preferred.
