Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with production and design staff to optimize product design and tooling for efficient production methods.
  • Work with vendors to determine product specifications and quality standards.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Utilize quality tools such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and statistical process control to improve overall product quality.
  • Assist with the design layout of equipment and workforce for maximum efficiency.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial/Operations Management, or other general engineering/industrial degree with technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, statistical process control, etc. preferred.
  • Experience working in an industrial setting preferred.
