We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Process Development: Develop and implement new manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, and production equipment capabilities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with production team leaders, supervisors, and Plant Superintendent to support requirements and priority customer orders.
- Quality Control and Improvement: Utilize quality tools such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and statistical process control to improve the overall product quality.
- Design Layout and Optimization: Assist with the design layout of equipment and workforce for maximum efficiency.
- Education and Experience: Requires a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial/Operations Management, or other general engineering/industrial degree with technical problem-solving abilities. Experience with quality tools and industrial settings is preferred.
