Job Title: Hybrid Medical Dosimetrist

About the Role:

US Oncology Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Dosimetrist to join our team. As a Hybrid Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in generating radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and various imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and various imaging modalities.
  • Identify and delineate anatomy and anatomical positioning on various imaging modalities.
  • Perform patient-specific quality assurance activities under the direction of the medical physicist.
  • Complete treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner based on complexity.
  • Adapt to the ever-changing technology and be open to learning new systems and techniques.
  • Perform or assist in the planning of the production of molds, casts, and other immobilization devices.
  • Effectively communicate plan details with physicians and staff.
  • Consult and communicate with therapist staff regarding the implementation of the treatment plan.
  • Document treatment planning and quality assurance tasks accurately.
  • Transfer treatment plans, treatment parameters, field DRRs, and setup photos and notes to the ROIS (record & verify system).

Requirements:

  • Credentials as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).
  • Minimum of two-year experience in a clinical setting.
