We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders, and to perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce images of organs on photographic film.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address their concerns to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Monitor, record, and communicate utilizing computerized documentation to maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with transporting patients as needed.
Requirements:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- State License Nuclear Medicine.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).
- Vocational School Graduate.
