Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Pharmacist - Member Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and services to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and counsel members on healthcare and prescription medication needs.
  • Model and Enforce Member Service Standards: Provide direction and guidance to associates on proper member service approaches and techniques to ensure member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance: Analyze and interpret reports, implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls, oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, and develop and implement action plans to ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP) certification, and completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.
  • License and Certification: Pharmacy license (by job entry date) and current immunization certification.
