About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Loading Dock Equipment Specialist to join our team at ALTA Equipment Group. As an Overhead Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial door and dock equipment, including overhead doors, dock levelers, and gate operating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and maintain commercial door and dock equipment, including overhead doors, dock levelers, and gate operating systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with door and dock equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an Overhead Door Technician or in a related field.
  • Clean driver's license and valid driver's record.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic tools and a reliable vehicle.
