Kitchen Equipment Technician Job Description

Joe Warren & Sons Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and installing commercial cooking and food preparation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service commercial cooking and food preparation equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Accurately complete assignments and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department to identify and recommend necessary parts.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including accurate inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturers to diagnose equipment issues.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify equipment problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate service needs clearly.
  • Promote additional services offered by Joe Warren & Sons Co., Inc. to customers.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background experience in gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial equipment repair or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
