About the Role:As a Project Manager supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide technical project management expertise to support the development and deployment of critical services for public safety. The support will help ensure any procurement strategy, approach, selected and executed solution meet technical and business objectives set out by the program.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and Maintain Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including federal clients, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment of project objectives and expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive management of potential issues that could impact project delivery.
- Project Delivery: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful integration and deployment of 4G LTE core infrastructure, mobile applications, and related technologies.
- Project Budgeting: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Project Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
- Project Reporting: Provide detailed project reports to clients and internal stakeholders, summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Team Development: Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the project management lifecycle, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and government regulations, addressing any issues that arise.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in any of the following degrees: Business Administration, Quantitative Analysis, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent progressive experience with a National Wireless Carrier supporting build and deployment of LTE.
- Project Management Experience: 6-8 years progressive experience in project management for a National Wireless Carrier.
- Technical Knowledge: Possesses knowledge of a broad range of 4G LTE concepts and systems to include: 4G LTE Core infrastructure and services, mobile application ecosystem and development experience, mobile devices and the mobile device ecosystem, OSS/BSS systems, and core network services.
- Citizenship: US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance or suitability.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
