We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Clinical Support Associate to join our Float Team at Goshen Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in various clinical settings throughout our network.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and healthcare practitioners in carrying out daily clinical and administrative tasks under the direction of practice managers and/or providers.
- Provide patient care, including obtaining financial, demographic, and medical information, and entering data into the electronic medical record.
- Verify insurance eligibility and special billing requirements according to guidelines set by insurance carriers and ensure necessary forms are signed in accordance with set practice guidelines.
- Communicate with patients about upcoming appointments, outstanding patient due balances, and collect required copayments upon registration.
- Perform work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a courteous, professional manner.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
- Current license as Licensed Practical Nurse (or Licensed Vocational Nurse) issued by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
- CPR certification through AHA.
- Experience in a medical office (family practice) setting is preferred.
