Job Title: Mental Health and Substance Abuse Specialist

Overview: At ICL, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health and substance abuse services. As a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with serious and persistent mental illness develop and maintain viable living, working, and social situations in the community.

About the Role: This position involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team with shared caseloads. You will assist participating individuals in obtaining needed medical, social, psychosocial, educational, financial, vocational, and other services. Your lead responsibility will be integrating dual-recovery treatment with the tasks of other team members.

Educational Requirements: High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing direct services to individuals with mental disabilities is required. A CASAC or CASAC-T credential is also necessary, with acquisition of full CASAC credential within one year of appointment. Valid NYS driver's license is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
