Psychiatric Technician III Correctional Health Specialist

The County of Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Technician III to join our team in the Correctional Health Services department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized services to deliver mental health treatment and support to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct client care and support to individuals with mental health needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop interventions
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on mental health topics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance services and outcomes
- Valid and active license as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians
- Two years of experience at the level of Psychiatric Technician II in the County of Los Angeles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
