Skilled Nursing Facility Opportunities

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. As an LNA, you will play a critical role in providing direct and indirect patient care, working under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
  • Provide patient mobility and maintain patient hygiene
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients

Requirements

LNA, licensed in Vermont.

Nestled in the farmlands of Middlebury, Helen Porter has accommodations for 98 people, is licensed by the state of Vermont and certified by Medicare and Medicaid. Helen Porter is a skilled and intermediate care residence which specializes in providing a home-like environment.

Our Units

We have three units within our Skilled Nursing Facility: Long Term Care Unit, Memory Care Unit, and Post Acute Care Unit. Each unit is designed to meet the unique needs of our patients, with a focus on providing high-quality care and promoting a positive patient experience.
