Backroom Operations Associate

As a Backroom Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in maintaining and processing shipments for the Club. This involves developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses. You will also be responsible for receiving merchandise for the Facility, organizing and maintaining the Receiving area, and tracking and processing claims.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintains and processes shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Develops and posts delivery schedules
• Compiles and organizes receiving reports
• Verifies merchandise counts
• Routes merchandise to proper locations
• Pays expenses
• Receives merchandise for the Facility
• Organizes and maintains the Receiving area
• Tracks and processes claims

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
• Forklift Certification OR will obtain a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date
• Must be 18 years of age or older
