SUMMARY

Responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and distributing weekly pricing and ad allowance information. Maintains the Price Group File in Dynamics AX. Performs specialized material billing functions. Functions as a resource to Customer Service and other departments at Rocky Mountain Eggs and Southern California Egg Coop.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Monitors the Urner Barry website daily for price changes.

Maintains and distributes the Daily Market Update to NuCal staff and customers on a daily/weekly basis.

Retrieves afternoon pricing UB daily,

Enters ad allowances into the AX Dynamics upon receipt from the Sales Staff. Works closely with the Customer Service Reps and the Sales Staff regarding ads.

Maintains and distributes the “Ad Calendar.”

Reviews and approves all requests for the payment of allowances and rebates to customers.

Audits all Excel based customer price sheets quarterly.

Enters Material Billing, Misc. Billing and Brokerage Billing into AX Dynamics.

Makes updated changes to the customer pricing worksheet.

Weekly Closing Process: verifies the Bid Report, Override Report, and Misc. Billing Report.

Assists in investigating and answering questions from the CSRs, other departments, or Customer Service Support Personal as needed. Backs up Customer Service when necessary.

Acts as back up for Pricing Coordinator II

Coordinates implementation of procedures created by the CSM.

Verifies pricing changes from proper approvals.

Reviews Priced POs for dedicated companies

Review Purchase Variance on price PO’s/Invoices

Create new customer accounts.

Corporate billings

Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or three years of related customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and methods.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be computer literate and possess basic level skills in Word and Excel. Ability to learn basic functions on computer database programs.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to apply common sense understanding, to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form. The ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of different situations is essential. Must also possess the ability to problem solve and work independently. Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
