Armed Security Officer

Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Armed Cleared Security Officer, you will be entrusted with sensitive information and responsible for protecting classified information and personnel. You will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.
- Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
- Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication
- Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary
To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. You must also be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance. Additionally, you must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience, and be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance.
