We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at a hospital in Independence, MO. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Summary:

The Security Officer will be responsible for:

  • Patrolling the hospital grounds and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Controlling access to the hospital and ensuring that only authorized personnel can enter and exit
  • Responding to emergencies and providing assistance as needed
  • Providing customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 18 years of age (21 for Armed or Taser Positions)
  • High school diploma, College Degree, or GED
  • 5 years of work experience within the last 5 years, with a minimum of 2 years verifiable work history
  • Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible scheduling
