• Set up and operate hoisting apparatus to elevate and position structural steel components.
• Secure steel elements to lifting cables utilizing chains, ropes, or cables.
• Direct the positioning of steel members with the aid of tag lines.
• Utilize tools such as turnbuckles and crowbars to adjust steel members into their designated locations.
• Ensure proper alignment of bolt holes in steel components using appropriate tools.
• Check vertical and horizontal positioning of structures with precision instruments.
• Modify steel components through cutting and welding as necessary.
• Manage the loading, transportation, and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery.

• Ability to work with precision and adhere to strict accuracy standards.
• Proficient in applying mathematical concepts to resolve technical challenges.
• Capable of planning tasks and selecting the right tools for the job.
• Adept at recognizing differences in size, shape, and form of various objects.

The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, as well as physical capabilities including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
