Job SummaryThe Human Exposure Core Director will lead the expansion of this pioneering research center into a nationally recognized center of excellence. This role offers unparalleled opportunities to collaborate with world-renowned researchers in pulmonology, immunology, exposure science, and public health. You will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities, including clinical research centers, specialized labs, comprehensive exposure assessment facilities, and genomics core.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the growth of faculty, enhance research initiatives, and develop interdisciplinary programs addressing critical environmental and health challenges.
- Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere where ideas thrive, fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to groundbreaking research focused on human health and environmental exposure, with a significant emphasis on the impacts of climate change.
- Mentor graduate students, residents, fellows, and post-doctoral trainees in climate health and medicine.
- A strong desire and commitment to elevate a research center to national prominence.
- Recognized achievement and reputation in exposure science, climate science, and human health.
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience.
- Proven track record of acquiring external funding.
- Exceptional communication skills and enthusiasm for collaboration.
- An MD, MD/PhD or PhD or equivalent degree.
This position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 annually.
