Job Title: Field Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Leader to oversee all aspects of field installation for a project in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive productivity for the project by supervising all work through direct reports and communicating daily work plans.
  • Ensure work is installed as planned to the required quality, and assist the Pre-Construction Team in identifying cost-saving options.
  • Communicate openly with Operations and understand the output provided, ensuring workers implement design plans and specifications.
  • Monitor progress and report to the project team, general contractor, and/or construction manager.
  • Work with the project team to maintain materials and ensure proper workflow, and stage work areas with tools and equipment.
  • Organize resources and ensure they perform as required, and serve as the company representative at jobsite meetings for safety, coordination, scheduling, or problem-solving.
  • Keep records of daily impacts and notify the project team of possible delays, and ensure the project schedule is followed and protected.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience at a field leadership level, with a strong understanding of multi-trade construction.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ability to adapt and overcome obstacles, and tenacity to achieve results.
  • Ability to learn from failures, willingness to challenge others, and support, motivate, and challenge one's team.
  • Financial accountability for labor spend on the project, and technology skills with a commitment to continuous education.
Physical Requirements & Travel Demands:
  • The position is customer-facing, with regular walking on jobsites and occasional visits to the main office.
  • Travel is primarily to the jobsite, with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected.
