Strategic Business Process Improvement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Process Improvement Lead to join our team at TriOptus LLC in Tallahassee, FL. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business process improvements across multiple areas and state agencies.
About the RoleThis 11-month + hybrid position offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to leverage their expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, and process management to drive meaningful change within our organization.
As a Strategic Business Process Improvement Lead, your primary duties will include:
- Eliciting, identifying, analyzing, and documenting business processes and requirements for business units and sister agencies.
- Translating business requirements and/or user stories into functional requirements and documenting them in Azure DevOps.
- Analyzing business processes and making recommendations for improvements, requiring a deep understanding of organizational systems and processes.
- Serving as the primary liaison between internal and external users and technical resources to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Developing meeting summaries, requirements documentation, screen designs, and other SDLC artifacts within required timeframes.
You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and technical resources to ensure successful project delivery and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of IT experience, 4 years of experience in process engineering, and 2 years of project management experience. You must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical staff, and have experience working on complex software projects as a project lead.
