We are seeking a highly qualified Divisional Director to lead the Division of Natural Sciences at Saint Xavier University. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the division, developing and implementing curriculum, and ensuring program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet program, state, and national standards and guidelines.
- Oversee the evaluation processes and monitor outcomes.
- Mentor and support faculty in carrying out their responsibilities.
- Ensure accuracy and currency of catalog and website related to programs.
- Monitor financial performance and forecast budget.
- Work with faculty and grants staff on STEM-related grant development, research, and procurement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Doctoral degree required in a field in the division with an emphasis on anatomy and physiology.
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in academic education.
- Experience in academic administration preferred.
- Experience in grant development, research, and writing with demonstrated track record of securing competitive grant funds from federal and state agencies and private foundations preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, and experience with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Blackboard.
