About the Job:

KBR is seeking a highly experienced Financial Project Director to lead our cost control efforts. As a Financial Project Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost control strategies, monitoring project costs, and providing financial reporting to management and project teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost control systems and strategies
  • Monitor and analyze project costs and budgets to ensure financial targets are met
  • Provide financial reporting and forecasting to management and project teams
  • Work with project managers to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed set standards
  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in cost management or a similar role in a project-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial software
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements
  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure

Clearance:

  • Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required

Total Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is $140,000 - $200,000 based on industry standards and location.
