Position OverviewThis role is designed for current Nursing Students who have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Nursing course. Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will assist in providing personalized care to patients, aiming to help them achieve their highest level of wellness. You will work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team, understanding the significance of shared objectives. Your duties will include performing designated clinical tasks and non-clinical support activities essential for patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required, and enrollment in an accredited nursing program. Candidates must provide transcripts confirming completion of Fundamentals of Nursing and a competency skills list from their educational institution. Maintaining good standing with the nursing program is essential.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire.
  • Physical Requirements: The position involves regularly pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50 pounds, along with prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Candidates must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience as an EMT, Paramedic, or in patient care roles is advantageous.
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) in Arkansas.
