Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering patient care, which may encompass the following responsibilities:

· Guiding patients to examination rooms while accurately recording essential visit details and vital signs such as height, weight, and blood pressure.

· Preparing and administering medications and immunizations as instructed by a clinician or RN, or in accordance with established protocols.

· Assisting with procedures and treatments as directed by the clinician, including tasks such as ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans.

· Ensuring that all aspects of the standard rooming process are completed, including medication reconciliation, allergy reviews, immunization updates, and the completion of necessary forms and questionnaires to support clinical quality.

· Staying informed about and adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Must be a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and maintain a current state license. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required and must be kept up to date. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is preferred (ideally in a related medical field).

OR

Medical Assistant (MA): Must be a graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required and must be maintained. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred (ideally in a related medical field).

OR

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Must possess a high school diploma or GED and maintain current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Must meet one of the following: Graduate from an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years of pharmacy technician experience OR Graduate from an accredited EMT program and hold a current EMT License.

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of experience in healthcare is preferred (ideally in a related medical field).
