Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Logistics Planner to join our team at ACT1 Federal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing solutions to international logistics planning and execution issues impacting the U.S. Government and our Ally Partner Nation's in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze challenging logistics problems and recommend insightful and innovative solutions.
  • Develop creative approaches to logistics planning and execution issues and provide far-reaching recommendations that will advance the state of the Security Assistance logistics.
  • Address demanding challenges within the field, including technology insertion to streamline logistics processes, foster system-wide efficiencies, and develop system concepts to reduce the customer's total ownership costs.
  • Work effectively on specific, individual weapons system issues as well as system-wide projects.
  • Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provide recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training or support equipment (SE) programs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university and greater than ten (10) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis or planning is required.
  • Additional experience can be substituted for a master's or bachelor's degree.
  • Active Secret or Interim Secret clearance required.
  • Position is contingent upon funding.

The salary range for this position is $121,000 - $135,000. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
