Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality wound care to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. As a Treatment/Wound Care Nurse RN/LVN, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and documenting residents' wounds, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and assess residents' wounds to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement wound care plans, including dressing changes and other treatments
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
  • Document residents' wounds and care plans in the Resident Care Management System
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve wound care outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current, valid license in the applicable state
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of current wound care treatments and dressings
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
