Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Specialist to develop supportive relationships with clients, assist children and families, and address needs by de-escalating crisis situations.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will respond to crisis calls within 60 minutes, work with individuals of all ages who are experiencing immediate crisis, provide positive intervention, stabilization, de-escalation, and conflict management using a trauma-informed approach, and document and submit services in a timely fashion.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive on-call stipend per shift: $500-$750
  • $16.48/hourly for physical hours worked: Total estimated annual salary is approximately $34,430

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
  • Completion of DCFS background check and fingerprinting
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
  • At least three years of driving experience
