About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment Manager to join our team. As a Life Enrichment Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, fostering meaningful relationships, and promoting a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate resident interests and involvement in life skills programs
  • Develop and implement personalized life skills tailored to each resident's unique needs and abilities
  • Engage residents in life skills activities throughout the day and evening
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of life skills programming supplies
  • As applicable, assist residents with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the life skills program
Requirements
  • One (1) year experience working with memory-impaired seniors
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; certification(s) may be required per state regulations
  • Ability to motivate and encourage residents, knowledge of adapting life skills to cognitive and functional abilities
  • Ability to inspire and motivate volunteers and fellow team members to engage residents in meaningful activities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills, demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to make responsible choices, decisions, and act in a resident's best interest
  • Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision, following community procedures and guidelines
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new applications
