Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Spee-Dee Delivery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and other powertrain components
  • Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment
  • Ability to use scan tool and laptop technology
  • Follow reasonable instructions from shift leader
  • Ability to work independently and/or with team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics is preferred
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
  • Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet
