Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, referral sources, and hospital personnel, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships.
  • Equipment Delivery: Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Marketing and Sales: Promote our products and services to healthcare professionals, increasing referral volume and revenue from hospital/facility orders.
  • Insurance Verification: Initiate insurance verification processes, inform patients of their financial responsibility, and discuss insurance coverage with patients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete records, including delivery tickets, assignment of benefits, care plans, and waiver of liability.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and service equipment, making decisions on switch-outs and resolving customer complaints.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree from an accredited college preferred.
  • Experience: One year of work-related experience in healthcare, administrative, insurance, customer services, or management, with a focus on DME, Diabetes, Incontinence Sales.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, product and service knowledge, motivation for sales, ability to work independently and with a team, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work Environment:

The work environment may be stressful at times, and the successful candidate must be able to handle long periods of sitting, exposure to the computer screen, and occasional exposure to hazardous materials, loud noise, and extreme heat/cold.
