Occupational Therapy Assistant - PRN

About the Role:

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients' functional status, teach adaptive skills, and assist patients in achieving established functional goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide training on proper use of adaptive equipment and splints.
  • Document patient progress and submit visit documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist program.
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification in the applicable state.
  • Minimum of 1 year direct patient care experience preferably in an in-home care setting.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
